Steal An Egg Hungry Frog Event Guide — Parasites, Monster Chests & Monstrous Mutation
Update #2 (2026-08-29) brought the Titan Temple biome, the Robux Monster Egg and a brand-new recurring event: the Hungry Frog. Here is how the whole loop works, straight from the official patch notes.
The parasite loop
Parasites have begun attaching themselves to eggs across the world. The event cycle is:
- Find an infected egg — look for eggs carrying a parasite.
- Bring it back to your base.
- Feed the parasite to the Hungry Frog.
- Feed 5 parasites to the frog to earn a Monster Chest.
Monster Chests and the Monstrous Mutation
- Monster Chests contain rewards from the Titan Temple update.
- They have a rare chance of containing the Monstrous Mutation — a limited-time mutation that applies to monsters from Titan Temple.
- Because it is event-limited, working on the parasite loop during the Update #2 window is the only confirmed way to earn it.
The Titan Temple monsters
The new biome adds 8 monster animals: Nightflame (Divine), Gorilla King (Eternal), Mutant Shark (Secret), Rhinotaur (Cosmic), Mantaris (Cosmic), Bladehide (Mythic), Crustacia (Legendary) and Spideron (Legendary) — see the pets list for the full rarity breakdown.
The Monster Egg is also available in the Robux Store. It hatches 6 new monsters, and every monster it hatches has a rare Mecha variant. The patch notes do not specify which of the 8 biome animals hatch from it.
Tips
- Infected eggs spawn across biomes, so keep an eye out during normal stealing runs rather than camping one spot.
- The chest reward is chance-based — 5 parasites guarantees a chest, not the mutation itself.
- Pair the event with The Great Bloom cycle from Update #1 to keep both mutation pipelines moving at once.
